480 Hours Master in TEFL/TESOL

TEFL or TESOL trains the teachers to teach students who are non-native English speakers. A certified TEFL/TESOL teacher will be able to teach immigrants, students studying in a foreign country where English is the second language, or people who have to converse in English for work purposes. TEFL/TESOL grants exposure on how to teach grammar skills, language systems and lesson planning. The course is best suited for educators who wish to teach abroad.
TEFL/TESOL is different from just teaching the English language because it is geared towards training the educators on teaching methodologies and how to teach students of various levels. TEFL/TESOL also enables the educators to teach students of all age groups.

All Diploma level candidates and above will gain access to a senior mentor who has 35 years+ experience in the field of ESL. In this level, the candidates will be trained in the tactics of classroom management, education administration and management. Methodology

At London College of Teachers and Trainers, we follow the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach where we encourage our students to communicate and practice in the target language.

Teaching Practice

Teaching Practice (TP) is extremely helpful for candidates who have not had any experience with teaching before. Even though TP is optional, the candidates are advised to seek out opportunities in their vicinities or preferred area where they can practice teaching their target students. This will not only help them gain valuable practical experience, but also give them a chance to demonstrate what they have learned during their program with us.

We will provide the candidates interested in doing a TP with a letter of recommendation for the internship at their choice of school/institution.
